For the exhibition design I am going to take on the Fashion/Clothing line Burberry.

Burberry Group plc (LSE: BRBY) is a British luxury fashion house, manufacturing clothing, fragrance, and fashion accessories. Its distinctive tartan pattern has become one of its most widely copied trademarks. Burberry is most famous for its iconic trench coat, which was invented by founder Thomas Burberry. The company has branded stores and franchises around the world, and also sells through concessions in third-party stores. HM Queen Elizabeth II and HRH The Prince of Wales have granted the company Royal Warrants. The Chief Creative Officer is Christopher Bailey. The company is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is a constituent of the FTSE 100 Index.

Signs: an introduction

At first we need to define what is a directory sign in order to understand the theories behind and learn how to design an effective signage. A directory sign is a simple way to educate the public about where your place of business is located. Is your business located in a business park somewhere, in a huge skyscraper, or large retail commercial mall? Helpful Lobby signs can assist you in your quest to find the correct level, floor and even the number of a business entity that may unfortunately have been lost without precious directory signs.

Directory signage is provided to offer assistance with direction or instruction. Ultimately, the primary objective of any sign is to communicate your message concisely to everyone who sees it.
